Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation data platforms. Our team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable and high-quality backend APIs, services, and features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services using TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and product designers to define product requirements and scope.
  • Work with other engineers to deliver high-quality, complex backend features on the roadmap.
  • Identify and troubleshoot significant errors and performance issues within our environment.
  • Mentor other engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent major.
  • 8+ years of experience developing and maintaining production data pipelines or data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with AWS or other major cloud services.
  • Proficient with TypeScript or other popular programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building large-scale SaaS platforms supporting millions of users.
  • Experience designing and developing a data platform layer.
  • Expertise with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
