Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
- Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and to prepare and serve our food and beverage products.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is managed effectively.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Financial Management
- Manage our restaurant's finances, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales and other key financial metrics.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask effectively.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to be able to multitask effectively.
