About the Role

At VERB Interactive, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Integration Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust API solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • API Development: Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes while conferring with stakeholders.
  • Integration Services: Collaborate with third-party web service providers to create reusable integrations.
  • Software Design: Identify and utilize software design patterns.
  • Code Management: Build and track reusable code and libraries.
  • Documentation: Document and demonstrate solutions through flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code.
  • Application Optimization: Optimize applications for scalability and performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Debug complex issues spanning multiple systems and vendors.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders ensuring there is clear, consistent communication.
  • Mentorship: Support Project team members through highly technical tasks and be the go-to person for questions and concerns.
  • Architecture Guidance: Provide architecture guidance and mentorship to Development team members.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience with PHP frameworks.
  • Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using LAMP-stack technologies and the Symfony PHP framework or similar MVC frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern PHP development practices and tools, including PHP7+ and Composer.
  • Experience with API development tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Familiar with OWASP best practices.
  • Working knowledge of CI processes, including automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Web infrastructure technologies such as SSL and DNS.
  • Proficient with version control systems, Git and Gitlab in particular.
  • Proficient with development debugging tools and practices.
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment.
