About the Role

The School District #39 (Vancouver) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team on an on-call basis. As a Custodial Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
  • Operate and maintain custodial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops
  • Respond to custodial requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work collaboratively with other custodial staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous custodial experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
