Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled efficiently and accurately
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is delivered to the correct location and in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and provide regular reports
