Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Tim Reid Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of grounds maintenance staff
    • Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Maintenance and Upkeep
    • Plan and direct the maintenance and upkeep of outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and other features
    • Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and properly maintained
  • Project Management
    • Plan and manage projects related to outdoor spaces, including construction and renovation
    • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and upkeep activities
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical ability to perform manual labor
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Work Schedule
    • 35 hours per week
