Forklift Operator Job Description

About the Role:

F&P Mfg., Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, highly automated automotive parts manufacturing facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines by receiving, storing, and transporting materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load materials, stack goods in an organized manner for future use
  • Inspect product loads for accuracy and safely move them around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery
  • Move materials in and out of racking systems and shipping trailers
  • Service production lines with components and transport finished products to shipping locations

Requirements:

  • Previous forklift training and good driving record
  • Previous forklift operating experience in a production or distribution environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet production requirements in a safe and efficient manner
  • Use of warehouse management systems and bar scanning systems
