About the Role

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Process team in a Lithium processing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver process deliverables, including mass balances, flowsheets, P&IDs, design criteria, operating costs, and control philosophy for Lithium projects.
  • Supervise metallurgical test work programs and interpret metallurgical test work data for Lithium projects.
  • Evaluate tenders and provide technical recommendations for the purchase of process equipment from vendors as needed during studies and design.
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are notified immediately of any risk or changes to process deliverables.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest process developments in the Lithium industry.
  • Register and file all relevant project documentation in accordance with the Company's approved procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project design criteria and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of junior process engineers by providing mentoring and feedback on a continuous basis.
  • Manage multiple tasks and prioritize where necessary to achieve agreed deliverables to a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Assist with the development of proposals for test work, studies, and detailed engineering.
  • Assist with commissioning activities as required.
  • Support other team members as needed to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Travel as required to support business operations.
Requirements
  • University degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in Lithium processing.
