Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and ready to serve.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that our team is equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure that we have enough stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our food service department is operating within budget.
  • Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory decisions.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and crouching.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing and bending.
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position.Hours:
