At Tech Digital, we are seeking a highly skilled SMT Operator to join our team. As an SMT Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate SMT line equipment to produce high-quality electronic components.
  • Verify board assembly prior to reflow to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform daily maintenance of SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Meet manufacturing and quality targets while adhering to all Tech Digital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in SMT line operation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read values and correct polarity of Surface Mount components.
  • General knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
  • WHMIS training and experience working in a production environment.

Health and Safety:

  • Adhere to all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations.
  • Report any hazards or defects in equipment to the supervisor.
  • Participate in regular safety training and meetings.
