Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving their optimal level of health
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
Requirements
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics
