Job Summary:

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As an LPN, you will apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work to full scope of practice, engage in ongoing education, and maintain competency congruent with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies.
  • Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods, and action to be taken on unusual matters.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French).
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
