Housekeeping Team Lead

Virtuoso Assistance Ottawa is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, and coordinating activities to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, and recommend improvements to facilities and equipment as needed.
- Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services, including materials and equipment.
- Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as required.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in budgeting and cost estimation.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our facilities and may be required to travel to other locations as needed.
