About the Role

Virtuoso Assistance Ottawa is seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our facilities meet our high standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets to ensure that our cleaning operations are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with external service providers to arrange for additional services such as painting, repairs, and renovations as needed.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our facilities are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Work Environment
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week
