We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Skky Hotel Inc. as a key member of our facilities team.
Job Summary:The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel’s physical plant, including but not limited to:
- Performing daily inspections of the hotel’s facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Conducting repairs and maintenance on hotel equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Assisting with the maintenance of the hotel’s grounds, including landscaping and snow removal
- Performing minor repairs on hotel appliances and fixtures
- Assisting with the maintenance of the hotel’s pool and recreational facilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Changing light bulbs and replacing air filters
- Performing routine cleaning and disinfecting of hotel facilities
- Assisting with the maintenance of hotel equipment, including but not limited to:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing systems
- Electrical systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with frequent exposure to dust, dirt, and other allergens. The position requires the ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces.
