The Power Engineer Building Maintenance Technician is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings. This includes performing routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues
  • Respond to service requests and perform repairs as needed
  • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs

Requirements

  • High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing
  • Experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on heating ventilation and air conditions systems, or pneumatic or hydraulic systems
  • Sound knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment
