Key Responsibilities- Develop novel security and privacy features for Samsung's smartphones
- Collaborate with product management teams to refine proposals
- Design and architect security features
- Communicate feature motivations and designs clearly to stakeholders
- Provide expert security guidance to global development teams
- Stay up-to-date with latest security features and vulnerability reports
- 10+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Experience in computer security and/or user privacy
- Understanding of security architecture principles
- A holistic understanding of the Android software stack
- Knowledge of secure coding and exploit mitigations
Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for this role is $161,000—$221,100 USD, with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits.
This position will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment.
