Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our guests and staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to train and develop staff, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Will train.
Work Environment:

Our dining room is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the needs of our guests. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week.
