Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interior Superintendent to lead our team on a 41-story residential tower project in the Metrotown, Burnaby area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop site team members through regular feedback, training, and coaching.
  • Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, site instructions, and change notices to ensure scopes, terms, and conditions are properly executed.
  • Identify and advise on design deficiencies, schedule interruptions, or difficulties, and other project issues, working collaboratively with the Project Manager to resolve them.
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance regarding safety and scope of work.
  • Ensure sufficient manpower is provided to achieve safety, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Maintain daily paperwork, including field reports, safety inspections, schedule updates, etc.
  • Ensure all employees, subcontractors, and contractors adhere to the company's safety policies.
  • Perform daily site reviews of all work completed and ensure it meets drawings and specifications.
  • Assist with grievance issues and general site labor issues.
Requirements
  • At least four (4) years of experience as an Interior Superintendent with a general contractor.
  • Red seal carpenter experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong ability and proven experience in leading site crews of various sizes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish relationships with trades in the area.
  • An extensive history of working on a site until project completion.
