Job Title: Skilled Laborer

We are seeking a reliable and skilled laborer to join our construction team. As a skilled laborer, you will be responsible for ensuring worksites are clean and safe, assisting with various tasks such as demoing windows and roofing, and operating power tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean interior suites and surrounding areas
  • Install exterior air barriers and assist superintendents with daily tasks
  • Perform interior suites woodworking on windows frames and trims
  • Move materials to the worksite and ensure all tools, machinery, and equipment are safely set up
  • Assist with window removal and roofing demo procedures
  • Obey health and safety codes and company principles
  • Remove hazardous materials from sites
  • Operate scissor and boom lifts as necessary
  • Perform site and equipment inspections
  • Ensure tasks are completed to deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed apprenticeships recommended
  • Driver's license recommended
  • Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Good understanding of safety procedures
  • Great hand, eye, and foot coordination
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible
  • Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills
