Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Mirabel

Our Senior Quality Assurance Specialist serves as a consultant for all manufacturing and assembly processes, including those involving our partners. In this capacity, they assess issues in line with relevant standards and determine suitable actions to address them effectively and economically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets relevant standards concerning issues raised by internal and external clients and partners.
  • Initiates suitable actions based on the root cause of the issue, material value, and availability.
  • Identifies the necessity, initiates, documents, and monitors containment actions involving pertinent groups.
  • Communicates actions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Advocates for company quality policies, procedures, and standards, including the FOD program.
  • Monitors quality performance and identifies opportunities for enhancement and cost savings.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders (production, support teams, flight safety officer, etc.).
  • Evaluates, initiates material rejection, and manages non-conforming material disposition in the most cost-effective manner, considering production timelines and incurred costs.
  • Performs any other related tasks as assigned by their supervisor.
