Sales Manager for Multi-Property Portfolio
The Silver Hotel Group is seeking a Sales Manager for Multi-Property Portfolio. This role is pivotal in cultivating, nurturing, and overseeing robust relationships with current, past, and prospective guests, all while optimizing revenue for our diverse hotel offerings. Collaborating closely with hotel teams, you will ensure outstanding guest service and drive strong financial performance. Your participation in sales and marketing initiatives across properties will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with existing guest accounts to identify current and future business opportunities;
- Explore and secure new business prospects within the market;
- Manage and convert incoming sales inquiries from various channels, directing new leads to the appropriate team members;
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and hotel profitability;
- Assist in crafting and executing promotional strategies to enhance sales volume;
- Attend networking events, conduct external sales visits, and organize sales initiatives;
- Facilitate hotel tours to showcase our offerings;
- Serve as the primary contact for newly secured business and in-house bookings;
- Prepare and deliver client proposals and contracts;
- Negotiate pricing and terms for accounts and functions;
- Organize client appreciation events;
- Achieve revenue targets with a focus on growth;
- Participate in annual business planning and strategy formulation;
- Maintain a close working relationship with General Managers;
- Submit weekly sales action plans outlining activities and results;
- Stay informed about hotel facilities, services, pricing, and marketing programs;
- Collaborate with Sales, Catering, Front Office, and Revenue Management teams;
- Address and resolve guest concerns, empowering team members to do the same;
- Work with supporting departments to ensure a seamless guest experience;
- Attend necessary meetings and training sessions;
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Area Director of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in hospitality or relevant sales roles, preferably in a multi-property environment;
- Proven ability to manage and sustain guest/client relationships;
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across various departments;
- Excellent communication abilities (written, verbal, listening);
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or Business is advantageous;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Hotel Property Management Systems;
- Highly organized with proven time management skills;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism;
- Valid Class G Driver's license;
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
