About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cement Finisher to join our team at UCC Group Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet quality standards.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and extend their lifespan.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors in various locations, requiring the ability to work in different settings and adapt to changing conditions.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling as required.
  • Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
