About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at JFR Concrete Repair & Waterproofing Ltd. as a Surface Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure optimal density
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications
  • Applying finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
Work Environment

As a Surface Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to work at heights, in dusty conditions, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in concrete finishing and repair
  • Ability to work at heights and in dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
