Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Restaurex Corporation. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, making informed decisions to drive business success.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day, with occasional standing for extended periods.
  • Exhibit personal qualities such as accuracy, client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and management principles.
  • Work a regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week, with occasional flexibility to meet business needs.
