The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at our Selkirk Food Store location. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and pastry products to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize established recipes and procedures to measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter.
- Roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pastry, cookies, and related products.
- Place dough in pans, molds, or on sheets and bake in oven. Observe products while cooking and adjust controls.
- Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
Requirements:
- Experience baking product from scratch in a high-volume commercial bakery setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including early mornings.
