Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation to join our team at GPAC.
Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, conducting thorough research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop and implement case plans, ensuring seamless communication with clients and opposing counsel.
- Prepare and present legal documents, arguments, and evidence in court, demonstrating exceptional advocacy skills.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Take contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression, derivative proceedings, and property-related disputes to court, utilizing expertise in commercial litigation to achieve successful outcomes.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a reputable law school.
- Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia.
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a strong track record of success.
- Strong academic credentials, including excellent law school transcripts.
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with a proven ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Experience working with big law firms preferred, but not required.
- Salary commensurate with experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
