Job Title: Warehouse Team Lead

Boart Longyear, a renowned name in the drilling industry, is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in a key role. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the organization and accuracy of products, and investigating and resolving shipment discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Respond to inquiries regarding products and inventories
  • Lead the warehouse team to meet daily targets and goals
  • Take action to correct any issues and implement improvements
  • Perform warehouse functions and general duties as assigned
  • Provide purchase orders to vendors and suppliers for warehouse items
  • Receive and process expense purchase orders
  • Conduct warehouse and safety inspections
  • Build a safety culture in compliance with Company EHS standards
  • Ensure warehouse order and cleanliness
  • Maintain control of processes to align with corporate standards and avoid compliance issues
  • Guarantee high inventory accuracy in the warehouse
  • Analyze Warehouse KPIs to identify performance improvement opportunities and oversee warehouse projects

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Must have a valid Canada Driver's License
  • Bilingual – ability to speak and write in both English and French
  • Counterbalance Forklift Experience (1 year plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain handling warehouse operation and people management
  • 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or team lead position
  • Understanding of Lean principles
  • Strong communication skills and process coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
