We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Val D'or, Quebec. As a Warehouse Supervisor at Boart Longyear, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organization and accuracy of products in the warehouse
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding products and inventories
  • Lead the warehouse team to meet daily targets and goals, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations and safety
  • Perform warehouse functions and general duties as assigned, including receiving and processing inventory, managing warehouse space, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of warehouse items
  • Conduct regular warehouse and safety inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain a safety culture that promotes a safe and healthy work environment
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Must have a valid Canada Driver's License
  • Bilingual – ability to speak and write in both English and French
  • Counterbalance Forklift Experience (1 year plus)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years' experience in supply chain handling warehouse operation and people management
  • 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or team lead position
  • Understanding of Lean principles
  • Strong communication skills and process coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
