About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Northgate Bakery. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, including stockroom organization and visual merchandising to create an engaging shopping environment.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a secure and safe store environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of retail management experience
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
