About the Role

Rogers Communications is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Corporate Health Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced primary and specialty nursing care to our employees, while also developing and leading programs to promote the physical and mental well-being of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Advanced Primary and Specialty Nursing Care
    • Diagnose and treat illnesses autonomously
    • Order and interpret tests
    • Prescribe medications
    • Perform medical procedures
  • Manage and Direct Comprehensive Health Care
    • Provide health care for individuals and families
    • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Lead Education and Awareness Programs
    • Develop and implement education programs on health and wellness
    • Collaborate with other departments to promote employee well-being
  • Collaborate with Other Departments
    • Work with Wellbeing, Health and Safety, and Workplace Experience teams to support employee value offering
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Masters in Nursing degree and valid certificate as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN(EC)
  • Experience and Skills
    • Extensive experience in assessment of patients in emergency situations
    • Knowledge of defibrillator use
    • Current health care provider level CPR and First Aid Certificate
    • 3-5 years RN +/- NP experience in Emergency Services preferred
