About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Lazeez Shawarma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, manage food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Lead and Train the Kitchen Team

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Prepare Reports and Budgets

Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food service management.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
