About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Grosmont Transport Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize and optimize logistics operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of goods.

Oversee Logistics Operations

Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.

Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams

Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain Equipment and Facilities

Requirements
  • Education

College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.

Work Setting

Transportation industry, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.
