Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper and Maintenance Helper to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, minor electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assist with moving, lifting, and placing heavy objects, and operate various machinery and equipment.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior work experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier objects with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
