About the Role

Ferrari Maserati of Alberta is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to the facility.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with minimal supervision.
