Nu Star Transport Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our team.

Job Summary

The Administration Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transportation company, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including the administration of policies and procedures related to the release of records.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
Work Environment

The Administration Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
