About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at O&B Blue Mountain. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading by example and inspiring our team with your passion for food and culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques that align with our brand's culinary vision.
- Monitor kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, front-of-house staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Recruit, train, and develop culinary staff, providing coaching and performance management to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a similar environment, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
- Passion for food, culinary excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and vision, with the ability to build and nurture relationships and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
