Job Title: Assistant Professor in Aquatic Biology/Ecology and/or Limnology

The Université de Moncton is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to join the Biology Department at the Faculty of Science. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will contribute to the development of the department's research and teaching programs in aquatic biology/ecology and/or limnology.

  • Teach courses at all university levels in aquatic biology and related fields, including the development of new courses and programs.
  • Supervise students and conduct research in specialized areas, including the development of funded research programs.
  • Participate actively in departmental and faculty activities, including committee work and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biology with a strong background in aquatic biology/ecology and/or limnology.
  • Postdoctoral experience is an asset.
  • Strong research background with the ability to develop a funded research program.
  • Teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
  • Fluency in French is required.
