Indigenous Community Liaison Opportunity

At Exp Global Inc., we are committed to creating a world-class facility for research and education that understands, protects, and sustains Atlantic freshwater and coastal saltwater aquatic ecosystems in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

We are seeking an Indigenous Community Liaison to support our design team in the redesign and construction of the Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre (ASEC). This is a unique opportunity for an Indigenous student to gain experience in architecture, engineering, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in design activities and administrative functions
  • Build relationships with multiple teams and Indigenous communities
  • Help present the project to various audiences and attend networking events
  • Assist with graphic design and social media
  • Organize and communicate with Indigenous partners, communities, and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Interest in architecture, engineering, and community engagement
  • Technical background in architecture, engineering, or construction (asset)
  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • Pursuing or intend to pursue post-secondary or technical program
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications
