Blackline Safety is seeking a Senior Process Engineering Leader to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in spearheading and managing operational enhancements, ensuring sustained improvements, and expediting continuous improvement initiatives. As the Senior Process Engineering Leader, you will oversee a team dedicated to guaranteeing factory efficiency for timely, quality, and cost-effective product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and nurture a technical team focused on manufacturing capacity, yield, and productivity while championing continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and other departments to conduct root-cause analyses of product or process issues and ensure effective resolutions.
  • Advocate for the integration of new technologies and supervise capital projects aimed at achieving significant advancements in productivity, capacity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Ensure the Manufacturing Process team is prepared for new product introduction launches.
  • Oversee the creation of documentation, procedures, and processes to standardize and enhance manufacturing operations while promoting a structured change management approach.
  • Develop or source tools, fixtures, and equipment to facilitate manufacturing tasks.
  • Establish new organizational frameworks and policies to foster departmental growth and support organizational development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge in mechanical, electronics, and process design and troubleshooting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of best practices in the volume electronics and electronics assembly industry.
  • Demonstrated success in manufacturing line design and operations management.
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams or managing projects effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance conflicting priorities strategically and rapidly.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment with Six Sigma accreditation, showcasing the ability to apply tools and mentor others.
  • Proficient in data acquisition and analysis using complex data structures and databases.
  • Familiarity with gas detection, PCBA manufacturing, product design, project management, quality assurance, injection molding, radio technologies, and metalwork is advantageous.
