Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at St-Amour & Associates, Senc. in Montreal, Quebec. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA designation or current certification an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English and French) required.
