About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients, families, and communities, while ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities
  • Utilize nursing processes to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families
  • Contribute to an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Additional required qualifications include current certification for IV, defibrillation, and BGM, as well as the ability to work in a highly acute, very busy multi-disciplinary setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACLS, TNCC, and rural experience
