Job Title: Professor of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning to join our Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology at Humber College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program, as well as supporting student advising, recruitment, and graduate placement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program
  • Support student advising, recruitment, and graduate placement
  • Develop and maintain strong industry ties
  • Participate in committees and related associations
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid G2 Gas Technician license
  • Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic or Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Journeyman Certificate of Qualification
  • Minimum of five (5) years' relevant industry experience
  • Preference will be given to those with HRAI Certifications, Oil Burner Technician Certification, established HVAC industry connections, familiarity with HVAC Associations and governing bodies like HRAI, ASHRAE, RSES and TSSA
