About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for drafting a range of documents, attending examinations, and working on all aspects of a case.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and Document Preparation
- Drafting facta, opinion letters, settlement conference memoranda, pleadings, and various applications.
- Court Appearances
- Attending examinations for discovery, case conferences, mediations, IBC and other insurance conferences, motions, appeals, pre-trial conferences, trials, and mediations/arbitrations and other hearings at the LAT.
- Case Management
- Working on all aspects of a case including liability, financial and medical investigations.
Requirements
- Experience
- A minimum of 4+ years' post-call experience.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in personal injury law.
- Strong teamwork skills, trustworthiness, accountability, proactivity, and a positive work attitude.
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
