Job Title: Associate Family Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Family Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a prominent Family Law Firm, we are expanding and require a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage your own files while providing guidance and support to junior lawyers on strategy and legal issues.
  2. Develop and implement effective legal strategies for contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, as well as property and equalization of net family property.
  3. Provide outstanding, cost-effective, and responsive legal services to clients.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in Family Law and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
  6. Collaborate with other lawyers and staff to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years experience in a law firm dealing with Family Law matters.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Family Law and ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  6. Member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
