Job Title: Registered Nurse, Complex Care

At Bruyère, we're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Complex Care team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality patient-centered care, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assess and manage patient needs, including physical, emotional, and spiritual care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate
  • Successful completion of the mandatory ventilator training, provided by the hospital (on the unit), within the established timeline
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in respiratory care
  • Membership in Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)
  • Fluent in French and English
