Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Embassy West Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate dosing and timing
  • Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct specimen collection and record results
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes
  • Provide technical assistance to surgeons and other healthcare professionals
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and facilities
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
  • Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of [insert province]
  • Experience working in a long-term care or geriatric setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic life support certification
