Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at 1st RND DT Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and ordering supplies as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to stand for extended periods. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
