Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:
  • Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or a related trade qualification.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in processing or packaging operations.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing principles, methods analysis, systems development, and cost management in a high-paced, automated environment.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in planning and analysis.
  • Independence: Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Food Processing Experience: Background in food processing is advantageous.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulations is essential.
  • Six Sigma Knowledge: Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
