Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for analyzing claims exposure, determining the proper course of action, and settling claims within authority granted.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise proper judgment and decision-making to analyze claims exposure and determine the proper course of action.
- Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process, including solicitors and claimants.
- Negotiate with solicitors and directly with parties to resolve claims within authority granted.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan, and organize activities, serve clients, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges.
Requirements
- College/University degree or Insurance Institute CIP.
- Claims experience as per previous claims roles.
- Experience working in a commercial lines claims environment would be an asset.
- Partially or fully licensed and/or certified in provinces in which claims are being handled.
